My dear friend Riikka sew me a black velvet dress! I told her how I should buy a basic black velvet dress (I have one with kind of puffy sleeves but sometimes the sleeves disturb me for some reason) and she offered to make one. I am super satisfied, it fits so well and personally I am very bad at making clothes (which is a pity!). Thank you so much...!
Riikka asked me to model for a few pictures that she could use on her burda account and I though that maybe I dare to share a couple of them here too. :-)
Although I have seriously issues with velvet (touching it makes me cringe...), I think that this dress is so cute! You are so, so, so adorable too! ♥♥

Such a cute dress! I wish my friends would make me dresses- 'mind you, I'm not sure if any of them know how to handle a sewing machine ;)

ReplyDeletethank you! : ) I wasn`t much into velvet still a couple of years ago but last year I found it again and now I actually like it. But I guess that sometimes it depends on the velvet, some super super shiny velvets are not always so nice in my opinion. : o

ReplyDeleteI think I was kind of 'traumatised' by velvet when I was little. Strange story. There was a nasty girl that used to be mean to me, and she used to wear velvet (or velour) horrible tracksuit bottoms (I hate tracksuit bottoms too, but I think chavs set that into me too). She still has no taste in fashion, ahaha. No matter how much she tries to get to me (still!), I can still laugh in my head at her terrible tastes :'D That girl wouldn't know style if it hit her in the face.

ReplyDeleteHaha, I understand. : D And owww well some people tend to have veeeery strange taste and their combinations make your eye balls kind of pop out (not like I was some kind of style guru haha I don`t even wanna remember how I dressed a few years ago...)... :)
