Sorry for the lack of posts, my final exams (marticulation examinations) are in next week so I have been super hyper busy. : ( I was supposed to post about my textile bags but it seems to take still a while before I am able to, so now some other "art news" hehe. :> The painting of mine (my "diploma of art") got into a small art exhibition run by Helsingin taideyhdistys (they picked the paintings to the the exhibition). The paintings and drawings are all by high school students from different schools and the exhibition is hold in
Sanomatalo (in Helsinki) for two weeks. It is not really that big deal but I am still happy that they chose my painting there and the opening (which was on Thuesday) was very nice too. : )
(the elegant painting under mine is made by my schoolmate, she is really talented..!)Sadly I couldn`t take a better photo of my painting because the lightning was a bit challenging. : D I`ll try again when the exhibition is over and I finally get the painting home.

Rokoroko: jee, kiitos! :) Ja itseasias toi on mun kuvisdiplomi, joskus kauan sit postasin tosta peri "detail kuvaa" mut en oo just saanut kunnollista koko kuvaa otettua kun työ on pyöriny tähän saakka koululla. : )

In fact there in the same house is the office of Helsingin Sanomat (it`s Finland`s most popular/the biggest newspaper, I illustrate their "Nuorten posti", which is a parcel for young people, every third week) so it is such a nice convenience that the exhibition is hold there! I should create a better portfolio soon, too and try to apply also for other illustrating jobs... : o
